What Makes A Home?

Well I know you are all worried about me finding a new place to live but all is well and I found a place I will move into at the end of the month. I have one more week left at the hostel but it is in a cool area so I do not mind. Things are busy at work and I am always tired, probably because I spent the last month out every night and it has taken it's toll on me (I am not as young as I used to be hahaha).

I am at an internet cafe so this post will be really short since I have to be at work in a few minutes.

Just know that I am fine and my only real problem is that I need a haircut...and a national insurance number but that is another story.

Later! Miss you!
Lyndsay

Well I finally went on the blog to catch up on all that I have missed. It seems there has been no time since Vegas. and yes, it was really "money baby".(swingers - in case you missed that one). I apologize to all the family that Aunt Laura did not make her usual desserts. We didn't get in till 2:00 am on the Monday, went to bed at 4:00, had to cook a bird at 11:00. Don't worry, I will make all your favourites at Xmas. Had a great time in Vegas. Went to the famous Ghost Lounge at the Palms hotel ($375 for a bottle of Grey Goose Vodka - do you believe it! You can buy it at Costco in the US for $50. I heard yesterday that Casino Niagara charges $500 for a bottle at their new hot niteclub Dragonfly). So of course I drank it straight up. I just finished redoing the laundry room. It started out replaces the floor tiles - got a deal - $50. But, had to paint, paper, etc to match the floor so spent $110 so far and now need to buy an armoir for storage, etc etc etc. Weather has been getting shitty here. Last week was like England - grey, gloomy and rain every day. Today is cold but sunny blue skies. Changing the clocks this weekend. I haven't even decorated for Halloween. Should I or shouldn't I? I will decide Sunday I guess depending on the weather. Glad you found a great place. I told Ally if she does well and saves money she can visit. She needs a job first - had an interview yesterday. I'm a little pissed my kids haven't blogged you. I am sure they have read it. Do you kind of feel like Carrie from Sex in the City when you are writing other than the topics. I read them out loud and think of the show. ha ha - is that crazy? No, that's Auntie Laura!
Well, I need to go see a client so I'm signing off. Love you Lyndsay and miss you.
